Our Story

Hayl Coffee isn’t open yet, but the work started a long time ago. We grew up around Ethiopian coffee traditions where craft, patience, and respect for the process matter. As a husband and wife team, we’re bringing that mindset to Baltimore with strong coffee made right and built to last. Every bag we roast helps support real work in the neighborhoods that need it most. This is about steady work, not big promises. Strength is built a little at a time, and we’re in it for the long haul.
